Kennebunk Beaches

During the peak season, from July through Labor Day, lifeguards and porta-potties are available at both Gooch’s Beach and Mother’s Beach. Mother’s Beach additionally features a playground accessible to the public.
While visitors are encouraged to enjoy these beaches, parking requires a permit during the peak season. Non-residents can obtain daily ($25), weekly ($100), or seasonal ($200) passes from three kiosks, the PassPortParking mobile app, or the Kennebunk Town Hall. Kennebunkport Beaches

Parking permits are necessary ($25/$100/$200), but please note that Kennebunk permits are not valid here. You can purchase permits at the Town Hall or the Goose Rocks General Store, and there's a ticket kiosk conveniently located at the corner of Proctor and King’s Highway. Colony Beach (off Ocean Avenue, near the Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport) This beach is small but is well loved for both its sandy beach and the jetty where you can watch the boats going in and out of the Kennebunk River. Parking permits are not required.
