Local Schools
The local schools stand out as some of the best in the state, boasting a diverse range of academic and athletic programs. Notably, both the Middle School of the Kennebunks and Kennebunk High School are accredited International Baccalaureate institutions, providing students with access to a top-tier education on a global scale. Kennebunk High School earned the distinction of being ranked as the second-best high school in Maine out of 125 schools by US News & World Report in 2020, and stands at 1,553 out of 17,700 high schools surveyed nationally.
