It's the perfect spot to cool off after a day at the beach or a scenic drive along the coast. We have to mention the incredible gardens out front. They are absolutely gorgeous.
Next up on our ice cream adventure is Rococo Artisan Ice Cream, an artisanal ice cream shop nestled in the heart of Kennebunk's charming Lower Village. Rococo is known for its commitment to using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients to create unique and delicious ice cream flavors. From classics like chocolate and vanilla to inventive creations like lavender honey and blueberry basil, Rococo offers a wide range of flavors to satisfy every palate.
In Kennebunkport's Dock Square, you'll find Big Daddy's Ice Cream, a family-owned ice cream parlor with a passion for creating delicious frozen treats. Big Daddy's offers a wide selection of ice cream flavors, as well as dairy-free and gluten-free options, ensuring that everyone can indulge in their delightful desserts. Don't miss their homemade fudge and caramel sauces for an extra burst of flavor. This was the favorite for both of us. Grainne loves their chocolate chip; Becky loves pistachio.
Last but not least, we concluded our ice cream adventure at Aunt Marie's Ice Cream, another beloved Kennebunkport gem. This family-owned ice cream parlor offers a wide range of flavors, including classics like butter pecan and mint chocolate chip. Their generous portions and friendly service make Aunt Marie's a must-visit destination for ice cream enthusiasts.
